Alex and I went to Reifel Bird Sanctuary on Nov 16, 2008. Saw lots of ducks as usual, but also saw a flock of Sandhill Cranes that had stopped over on the annual migration to warmer climes. These are very tame birds, though apparently sometimes feisty. We were able to walk right up to them, although they wouldn't eat out of our hands.
